During the festival, Gen-la Kunsang will grant the empowerment of the Wisdom Buddha, Manjushri and give teachings on understanding the mind. By relying upon Manjushri we shall naturally increase our wisdom. With wisdom our mind is always balanced and comfortable, and we shall solve our daily problems and eventually find ultimate peace.

The festival will be hosted by Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia (KMCA), a beautiful retreat centre in the Dandenong Ranges located at 25 McCarthy Rd, Monbulk, about an hour's drive from Melbourne.
