Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition
Manjushri
BuddhaShakyamuni

Buddha taught that everything depends upon the mind. The more peaceful we become the happier we feel and the more joy and contentment we experience in our lives and relationships. Through Buddhist meditation we can maintain a peaceful mind all the time by reducing anger, attachment, anxiety and other disturbing minds. Buddhist solutions to modern day problems can be used by anybody.

Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang will explain how everyone can enjoy and find inner peace from the Buddhist way of life, from those who wish to overcome stress and daily difficulties, to those seeking permanent freedom from suffering, or enlightenment. Everyone is welcome!

During the 2011 Australasian festival, Gen-la Kunsang will grant the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni. The empowerment is a special blessing ceremony that will deepen our connection with Buddha, enabling us to gain realisations of his teachings and awaken our own spiritual potential.

Open to everyone, the Australasian festival is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a spiritual break with like-minded people from around the region.
